SureJoy began in Mian Channu, the way a lot of good things in Pakistan do — with family. A few of us were always the ones cousins asked for help putting together a nikkah tray, picking a mehndi favour, or finding party supplies that looked beautiful without feeling rushed off a factory line. We kept saying the same thing: the special moments deserved pieces that were made with care, not pieces you could find at any bazaar stall.

So we started small. Evenings and weekends, we packed the first orders ourselves — mostly customized favor cards, frames and the little party supplies a friend had hand-finished. Labels were printed at home. Boxes lined the hallway. When a bride-to-be sent a photo of her mehndi platters all set up, the whole family gathered round the phone. That feeling never really left us.

Slowly, word spread. We added customized toppers, play cards, wedding and bridal accessories, and a full range of party supplies — only when we found pieces that met the same bar: good finish, fair price, and something you could keep on the shelf for years, not a single afternoon. A cousin helped with packing. A sibling took WhatsApp messages at midnight before a Saturday walima. What began as a side project became a proper little business, still based in Mian Channu, still run with the same family care.

Today SureJoy is bigger than those first kitchen-table orders, but the idea is the same.
